VIMAB Group AB's (publ) subsidiary, Vimab BESS, has received a breakthrough order for its large-scale battery solution, which ensures a stable power supply for consumers and industry. Vimab BESS has agreed to deliver a battery solution to Glase Energy. The order value is 34 million SEK, marking Vimab BESS's second order in a short period.

A large-scale battery solution guarantees that the customer can purchase energy at the right time of day, reduce power peaks, ensure a stable energy supply, and provide a backup against power outages and production disruptions. In addition to this the customer can provide frequency regulation service towards the national grid.

This is especially true now that the transition to renewable energy has gained momentum, increasing the demand for powerful, stable, and secure energy storage," says Peter Fredell, CEO of Vimab Group.

In simplified terms, the large lithium-ion batteries are placed in a container that includes climate control, insulation, and fire suppression systems.

The system ordered by Glase Energy consists of ten ready-to-use containers with significant storage capacity.

Recently, Vimab BESS secured an order worth 6 million SEK for a similar battery solution. Therefore, the company has received orders for battery storage totaling 40 million SEK in the past few months.
